Topoľčianky, November 14, 2023. The Secretary-General of Servare et Manere and Honorary Consul of Romania took part in an diplomatic event at the National Stud Farm Topoľcianky with the participation of the Ambassadors of the countries that participated in the entry of the element “Lipizzan horse breeding traditions” into the UNESCO list for the protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Slovakia. The National Stud Farm was honoured with a visit by H.E. Stanislav Raščan, Ambassador of Slovenia; H.E. Csaba Balogh, Ambassador of Hungary; H.E. Călin Fabian, Ambassador of Romania and H.E. Aleksandar Heina, Ambassador of Croatia.
Ambassador Raščan, together with the Director of the National Stud Farm, Michal Horný, welcomed other important guests: Jasmina Adem-Grujič, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Slovenia in Prague; Tatjana Vošinek Pucer, Director of the Lipica Stud Farm together with her husband Jurij Vošinek; Juraj Hamara, General Director of the Slovak State Traditional Dance Company, the Mayor of Topoľčianky Juraj Mesko and other personalities.
A performance of a quadrille with eight white Lipizzan stallions was prepared for the guests which continued with a tour of the stables and the historic riding school. Visitors also saw the photo exhibition depicting the common heritage associated with the traditions of breeding Lipizzaner horses. At the end, the guests signed the Chronicle of the National Stud.
