Gmina Trzyciąż, Jangrot, November 8, 2018. Another Tree of Peace was planted at the First World War Cemetery in Cieplicky Forest (Polish: Cmentarz Wojenny w Cieplicach) in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The project became part of the blessing ceremony of the bell tower on a former battlefield of the First World War. 2,014 soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian and 561 members of the Russian armies have found a final resting place here. There are also a number of Slovak soldiers from the Orava Region. Planting the Tree of Peace was the culmination of the event. The Tree of Peace was planted personally by the president of the Žilina Region, Erika Jurinová; Slavomír Nagy, Consul General Consulate of Slovakia in Krakow; Roman Żelazny, mayor of Trzyciąż; Lucjan Gajda, president of the village council; Róbert Machciník; Martin Štefaniga; Marek Sobola and other participants of the blessing ceremony.
