Tashkent, June 30, 2021. Mr. Ján Bóry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Uzbekistan, visited the Victory Park Memorial Complex in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. In this impressive military park and museum was on March 15, 2021 planted the common oak (Quercus robur) as the first Tree of Peace in Asia, which was also marked by a memorial pillar with a plaque. Today a check has been made on a planted tree that already has green leaves and is starting to grow and prosper.
