Turzovka, November 11, 2018. Tree of Peace was planted in the area of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Turzovka as a part of our international Project commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. The Tree of Peace was planted personally by the mayor of Turzovka Ľubomír Golis along with Jan Vrbata, dean of the Deanery of Turzvka. Turzovka is a town in the Čadca District, Žilina Region in north-western Slovakia.
