Tree of Peace National World War I Museum and Memorial

Amazing place for planting a Tree of Peace in the United States

Kansas City, Missouri, March 25, 2019. The Tree of Peace will be planted in a very interesting place in the United States. This place will be in the area of The National World War I Museum and Memorial of the United States in Kansas City. The Museum has been opened to the public as the Liberty Memorial museum in 1926. It was designated in 2004 by the United States Congress as America’s official museum dedicated to World War I. The whole cooperation and implementation of the project started at The Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in New York by coordination of Her Excellency, Mrs. Ladislava Begeç, Consul General. A Planting of the Tree of Peace in Kansas City is planned in 2019 with cooperation of His Excellency, Mr. Ross P. Marine, Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic to the Midwest USA. Mr. Ross Marine took over the organization and communication with the leadership of the Museum. Thanks to his excellent diplomatic work, we are currently working on the details of a planting the commemorative tree at this significant place of American military history.
