Bucharest, March 24, 2022. Marek Sobola, Secretary-General of NGO Servare et Manere, was the first Slovak to receive the Royal Medal for Loyalty – Medalia Regală pentru Loialitate, an award of the Romanian Royal Family. The royal award investiture ceremony took place in the Throne Hall of the Royal Palace in Bucharest.

At the end of 2021, Servare et Manere in Slovakia organized memorial events on the occasion of the Centenary of the birth of King Michael I of Romania. In addition to members of the Slovak and Romanian Armed Forces and representatives of local governments, the Romanian Prince Radu also took part in memorial events.
