Vienna, April 8, 2022. Marek Sobola, Secretary-General of Servare et Manere, was received by His Grace Andrej, Bishop of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Austria. A very friendly meeting at the Episcopal Residence in Vienna brought future opportunities for cooperation between the International Tree of Peace and the Diocese of Austria and Switzerland. In addition to the urgent need to spread peace and understanding among the nations, the subject of the discussion was the possibility of planting another of the Trees of Peace in Trieste, Italy. The Serbian Orthodox Church has a strong presence in this city and the beautiful Saint Spyridon Church, which stands near the “Canal Grande”.
